Impelled by international solidarity networks, this action highlights the growing role of civil society in the face of government inaction, which, through action or omission, endorses the occupation and ethnic perpetrated by the genocidal state of Israel. The largest humanitarian flotilla in history is heading to Gaza, attempting to create a humanitarian corridor to break the Israeli blockade and deliver food, medicine, medical aid, and water. This is because while the Palestinian population continues to suffer genocide, the State of Israel continues to bomb, and the genocide has not ended and the ceasefire has never been respected. That is why a phrase that is no longer just a slogan but a practice is more important today: all eyes on Gaza. In this context, Ibrahim, a Palestinian man, and Dominique, a French Jewish woman, approached the port to see off the Global Sumud Flotilla. The Argentine delegation includes Ramiro Giganti, Carlos Trotta, Victoria Pi de la Serra, and others. The day before the flotilla's departure, on Saturday, April 11, there was a massive mobilization in the streets of Buenos Aires, where thousands of people demonstrated in solidarity with the Palestinian people and against the growing escalation of violence in the Middle East. On the morning of Sunday, April 12, 39 ships set sail for Gaza from a port in Barcelona. Protests were also held around the world: in Rome, protesters carried a massive symbolic shroud with the names of over 21,000 Palestinian children killed by Israel, and in Málaga, a doll representing Benjamin Netanyahu was burned as part of the 'Judas burning' tradition. In response to the action in Málaga, Israel accused Spain of antisemitism and summoned the Spanish representative in Tel Aviv. 'This genocide has to end, Palestine has to be free,' said Ibrahim. 'Everyone on this land can live as equals,' said Dominique.
